vhs dream is a series of stills created by video artist aitso and sold digitally through objkt. these images are moments taken from analog glitch experiments using vhs tapes as the source material. some tapes were commercially made, some were footage filmed for various projects. these glitch experiments were improvised sessions, using various pieces of old video hardware. these sessions are both meant to get to know the hardware better, and to test out new techniques and ideas. this series is similar to an artist sketchbook, capturing moments in time that would normally be ephemeral.
